Supply & Delivery of Compostable Dog Bags and Dispensers

⁠⁠⁠The City of Melville (City) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to supply and deliver Compostable Dog Bags and Dispensers.

To align with the City of Melville s residential waste system using compostable kitchen caddy liners, the decision was made to transition the dog waste bags from biodegradable to compostable.

The City does not guarantee the quantity that will be required but estimates approximately 11,500 rolls of compostable dog bags will be required per year (seasonal variance, between 500 to 1,500 per month).

This Contract is for a three year term with two 12 months option periods which will be exercised at the sole discretion of the City.

The City reserves the right to engage one or two contractors for the supply and delivery of compostable bags and dispensers, which may include appointing a single contractor for both items or awarding separate suppliers for the bags and dispensers.
