This extension will ultimately form part of a complete dedicated pipeline to the Rotorua Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to provide greater capacity and operational flexibility within the network. The extension connects to the existing rising main, roughly 40 meters upstream to the existing discharge manhole SH000428.
