Waihemo Urban Water Main Renewal

⁠⁠⁠This work is part of Urban package to renew/upgrade existing pipework on streets that intersect with state highway, and where pipe is failing due to age and material and requires renewal and upsizing.NZTA has planned some road works in next year, so to avoid re-digging and trenching a newly sealed road, the pipe renewals works are prioritised in location in advance of this road works.

The identified areas of work in the Waihemo Urban / Palmerston township areas are given below.

• Ronaldsay Street (620m length, size varies) 
• Sanday Street (230m length)
• Stronsa Street (150m length) 
• Falcon Street (410m length)
• Gilligan Street (1140m length)
