The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a SSS OLA at Bray Park SHS, located at Lavarack Road, Bray Park QLD 4500, as part of the Smart School Subsidy (SSS) program.

The Outdoor Learning Area comprise of equitable access paths, covered lunch area, covered games and learning area, tiered sandstone seating and landscaping works. The position of the building is at the back of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by September 2026.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
