The Data Architect / Senior Data Analyst is a core member of the ERP Transformation Program team, providing senior technical leadership for data related architecture, strategy, and delivery activities.
This role operates as the primary data authority within the program, working to and in close partnership with the ERP Enterprise / Solution Architect and workstream lead to ensure data design, migration and implementation are fully aligned to the target state ERP architecture and broader enterprise architecture.
The role is responsible for defining, owning, and delivering the ERP Data Strategy, covering current state assessment, target state design, migration pathways, data quality improvements, and longer term information management capabilities. It ensures data considerations are embedded into all ERP solution options, delivery phases, and business decisions.
The position works closely with Services Australia (SvA), as the Department’s managed services provider, to align ERP data approaches with shared platforms, integration patterns, operational models, and reporting services.
This role is critical to ensuring the ERP program delivers trusted, high quality data, supports regulatory and financial obligations, enables reliable reporting, and avoids the creation of long term data risk or technical debt.
