The Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACPA) is an independent government agency that promotes efficiency and increases transparency in the delivery and funding of public health and aged care services across Australia by providing evidence based price determinations and pricing advice.
The IHACPA website was built in 2022. It received 957,510 page views in the 2025 calendar year. Website users primarily include professionals in the health and aged sectors including government departments, aged care providers, aged care workers, hospital workers, health professional/clinicians, as well as academics, peak bodies, advocacy groups and the general public.
To support IHACPA’s scope of work, the agency is undertaking a project to optimise and future proof our current website. IHACPA is seeking a provider to ensure the site meets best practice standards and is user centered. The review will consider the user experience and suggest structure and navigation considerations to ensure users can easily and confidently find the information they are seeking. All work and recommendations provided for the project are required to adhere to Australian government agency requirements like the Digital Experience policy and Website Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 (Level AA).
