Legal Aid Queensland (LAQ) is seeking a highly experienced and capable Construction Contractor to deliver the Cairns Office Fit-Out Project (Level 7 & 8, 46-48 Sheridan Street Cairns QLD 4870). This project represents a critical component of LAQ’s organisational transformation, requiring expert construction and project delivery to ensure timely completion, cost efficiency, and alignment with LAQ’s strategic objectives.

Industry briefing session

The Customer will hold a mandatory supplier briefing session for contractors on Wednesday 06 May 2026 via a Teams Meeting invitation.

Contractors are to advise in writing via the Vendor Panel Portal and or email to laqwps.procurement@legalaid.qld.gov.au by Thursday 30 April 2026, 2pm that they will be attending. An Agenda will be distributed to all attendees prior to the briefing session.

The Customer requests that a maximum of two (2) representatives per organisation attend.

As per the Conditions of Contract and due to the sensitive nature of these services, Supplier Personnel will be required to complete a Privacy, Confidentiality, and Conflict of Interest Deed (PCCID) and return it to the customer by 2.00pm, Friday 08 May 2026.
