Remedial Works to Crows Nest Community Centre

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited from suitably qualified building contractors to undertake remedial and rectification construction and weatherproofing works at the Crows Nest Community Centre building. Works shall include, but are not limited to, roofing, stormwater drainage, waterproofing elements, skylights, together with associated architectural works. Details are in the Tender Drawings and Specifications.

The site is an operational community facility, and the works will be undertaken in a staged manner to maintain ongoing use and safe access for staff, visitors and the public.

The project involves typical building remediation and upgrade works and is separated into the following separable portions and stages:

• Separable Portion A – Stage 1 – North roofing and skylight works
• Separable Portion B – Stage 2 – Level 2, 3 and 4 terrace and balcony waterproofing
• Separable Portion C – Stage 3 – Level 2, 3 and 4 terrace and balcony waterproofing
• Separable Portion D – Stage 4 – Childcare works and south roofing and skylight works

It is the intention of the Principal to award all packages of works to one tenderer.

A pre-tender meeting will be held at the Crows Nest Community Centre, 2 Ernest Place, Crows Nest NSW 2065, on Thursday 7 May 2026 at 10:00am. Failure by the Tenderer to attend this meeting may lead to rejection of the Tender.

All enquiries are to be lodged via the online forum on the e-tendering portal. The forum for this tender will close at 4:00 pm on Thursday 21 May 2026.

Council reserves the right not to accept any or all tenders received.
