Dandenong Library - Parents Room, Multi Faith and Quiet Study Space

⁠⁠⁠Dandenong Library is a key community facility that services a diverse and growing population, providing access to learning resources, community programs, and public space. As community needs evolve, the library must continue to support inclusive, accessible, and functional environments for all users. This project focuses on addressing identified spatial and amenity gaps within Dandenong Library to ensure it meets current library standards and user expectations.

Currently, the library lacks sufficient quiet study areas, a dedicated prayer room, and appropriate facilities for parents and carers. These deficiencies limit the library’s ability to fully support students, families, and culturally diverse community members. The proposed project aims to enhance the functionality of Dandenong Library and bring it into alignment with comparable facilities, including Springvale and Keysborough Libraries.
