Tender Description
Construction of RV dump point in carpark behind Exeter library.
Scope:
Council is proposing to install a new wastewater dump point for caravans and motorhomes within the carpark located behind the Exeter Library.
The scope of works is outlined on the contract-specific drawings and schedule and includes, but is not limited to, the following:
• Site establishment, existing services location, set out of design, project management including Workplace Health and Safety Management and Traffic Management
• Excavation and lawful off-site disposal of material not re-used, including vegetation removal, saw cutting of asphalt and clearing of existing swale drain on the southern side of the carpark
• Supply and installation of new water supply pipe, taps, valves and associated fittings, including connection to existing water system
• Supply and installation of “Dump Ezy” dump station, or approved equivalent, including associated signage, sewer pipework, fittings, and connection to the existing sewer system
• Construction of reinforced concrete slab for the dump station, including base, anti-slip hazard strips to perimeter, and capped sleeves to allow for future slab extension by others
• Supply and installation of dual station wheelie bin post (wheelie bins supplied by others)
• Trenching, backfilling and reinstatement of pavements within the parking area, including construction of an asphalt ramp around the concrete slab perimeter
• Supply and installation of carpark linemarking and raised pavement markers
• Supply and installation of all required signage
• Liaison with TasWater to coordinate scheduling of the required connection to the inspection opening
• Compliance with all TasWater and Plumbing permit conditions (permits have been applied for by Council)
• General reinstatement and minor works on disturbed surfaces
• 12-month defects liability period.
