Yellow Crazy Ants Aerial Baiting (Helicopter)

⁠⁠⁠Rio Tinto Aluminium Gove (RTAG) is seeking an Expression of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified helicopter operators for the supply of a helicopter and pilot to undertake aerial baiting operations for Yellow Crazy Ant management at the Gove Mine Site, Northern Territory.

The works will involve the aerial dispersal of granular ant bait across multiple treatment areas, under varying operational and weather conditions.

Scope of Works

The supplier to provide:

• A helicopter and suitably licensed, experienced pilot

• Aerial dispersal of ant bait over designated treatment polygons

• Daily flight and operational data outputs for project records

• Coordination and communication with ground-based loading and support crews

Ground crew, bait supply, accommodation, and meals will be provided by RTAG.

Compliance Requirements: BAARS Qualification applicable to the helicopter, pilot(s), and aerial operations
