As a member of the Experience and Service Design team reporting to the Lead User Interface Designer, the User Interface Designer role is responsible for delivering mobile app user interface design which ensures the delivery of the Agency workplan, roadmaps and digital health products.
The successful candidate will undertake complex work under lead direction, with opportunity for autonomy and accountability. They’ll work in an Agile delivery environment exercising their experience and knowledge to deliver quality mobile app design interface solutions and design system management, supporting design systems build and operations and collaborate with team members and stakeholders through the product design and delivery process. Work may also involve management responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and managing workflows.
The role is a key to the end-to-end design and delivery process. Requiring close collaboration with other designers, stakeholders and product development teams through discovery, idea creation, prototyping and concept validation is essential, with Human Centred Design methods at core to ensure innovation and quality outcomes.
