Water Main Extension Frew/Sams Street

⁠⁠⁠Summary:

Bulloo Shire Council is seeking the services of a suitably qualified contractor to supply labour and materials for water main extension at Frew/Sams Street, Thargomindah.

Included Work under the Contract (WuC)

This Technical Specification relates to the installation of approximately 405 lineal meters (Lm) of new Water Main Extension within the township of Thargomindah, broadly summarised as Work under the Contract (WuC) as follows:

• Mobilisation, establishment, management of worksite, clean-up and demobilisation associated with included WuC;

• All setout of works;

• Planning for, and implementation of temporary traffic management arrangements during works including administration;

• Trench excavation, all materials;

• Bedding, jointing, haunching, overlay and backfill for:

• 405 Lm of DN 100 with PN 18 PipeWater Main(1500Kpa rating);
• 6 units Fire Hydrants including accessories

• Setup, connect to the existing main along Frew Street

• Existing services connection to suit above scope of works;

• Backfill to existing surface levels at existing road pavement crossings;

• Clean-up and tidy of worksite on completion of WuC, including ensuring all areas disturbed area free draining, clean of construction debris and damage to existing built features is reinstated to match adjoining feature conditions; and

• All works must comply with AS/NZS 2032:2006 Installation of PVC Pipe systems

• The work under contract shall be priced and undertaken as a single project.
