Tender Description

This Tender is restricted by the Issuer.

⁠⁠⁠Scope of Works – Tree Pruning and Removal Works for Esperance SHS.

Provide the tree pruning and removal works as outlined in the following Scope of Works:

1. Carry out the tree pruning/deadwooding (151 Trees) and removal (56 Trees) works (noted as “recommended remedial works” in Tree Report’s Attachment 2) in accordance with the attached Tree Inventory and Risk Assessment Report (Ref: Rep R320 dated 14.6.25) for Esperance SHS. Clarifying that replacement trees are not part of this Tender (the Report mentions replacement trees, please ignore). Also clarifying that “Monitoring Closely” mentioned in the Tree Report’s remedial works are not part of this tender. Photos of each numbered tree are available by request, email andrew.dooley@dohw.wa.gov.au

2. All works shall be in strict accordance with AS 4373-2007 Pruning of Amenity Trees.

3. All work shall occur outside of the School’s operation hours and be all completed by the 11.10.2026.

4. All tree pruning and removal debris (mulch, branches, stump grindings, etc) shall be removed from site.

5. Confirming that all deadwooding to trees (ie the Report describes this as Target prune deadwooding and stubs) shall be carried out on all tree deadwood branches with a diameter of 50mm and greater.

6. Stump grind (min 300mm below ground level) all removed trees (56 Trees plus 4 additional stump grinds as noted in the Tree Report). Backfill with topsoil, level out adjacent area (approx 2m radius from the removed tree) and resow with suitable lawn grass seed.

7. Contractor to maintain the security and integrity of the site.

8. Contractors shall view the site to ensure that they’ve allowed for all the works as specified.

9. Contractor to provide a before and after photo (JPEG files to be located on a link available to download by Andrew Dooley) of each tree that’s been pruned/deadwooded and removed. Each photo shall be identified/labelled using the same tree number that’s in the Tree Report.

10. On completion of the works, site is to be left in a clean and tidy condition.

11. Reinstate all disturbed and affected services/conduits/surfaces and make good.

12. The Contractor shall remain on site and shall supervise all Sub-Contractors at all times.

13. The construction site (each individual work area including lay down material store and stockpile areas) are to be completely hoarded off with temporary 1200mm high vis barrier mesh site bunting. All tree work shall be conducted within the hoarded off construction site area.
