Conservation Programs Biodiversity Contract 2026-29

⁠⁠⁠This contract is split into two categories:

1. Bushcare and Native Vegetation Regeneration.

Typical tasks include but are not limited to:

Other minor reserve management works as required, monitoring biodiversity and revegetation etc, seed collection, debris and litter management, brushcutting for fuel reduction and biodiversity enhancement, revegetation and follow-up maintenance where required, protection of regenerating native vegetation, management of woody weed infestations and regrowth, selective herbicide application (spot spraying, cut and swab, drill and fill) and hand weeding of environmental and declared weeds.

2. General Reserve Management - Weed Control and Other Works

Typical tasks include but are not limited to:

Hand weeding and safe disposal of declared and environmental weeds, herbicide application using spot spraying, knapsack spraying and longline spraying techniques, control of woody weed regrowth using methods such as drill and fill, cut and swab and spot spraying, brushcutting for fuel control and biodiversity enhancement, vegetation and debris management, management of woody weed infestations and small trees, cutting, stacking and/or removal of fallen vegetation and debris, litter removal, mulch spreading, maintenance of drainage lines and sediment basins, minor erosion control works, maintenance of walking trails, pile burning, removal or repair of post and wire fencing, installation of temporary signage and barriers and other minor reserve management works as required.

This contract is for 3 years with optional extensions of one (1) plus one (1) years.
