Role Title: Manual Test Analyst
SFIA Level: 2
A SFIA 2 IT Test Analyst tests the function and interfaces of the systems which make up the Department’s core business processing systems, sourcing and analysing design documents, and assists in the preparation, peer-review and execution of test scripts.
A SFIA 2 IT Test Analyst works in an agile/iterative environment and utilises test management tools to prepare and execute test scripts, document results, analyse data, prepare test artefacts and escalate issues, defects and incidents in line with assigned work scope from the Scrum Master or Team Lead. They may be expected to lead sections of work within a release and be required to undertake specialist or technical research and analysis activities.
They communicate across a range of media types, using various styles to suit different audiences and understand and embrace the agency’s various ways of working and are agile in their approach to collaboration and delivery of services.
