Tender Description

This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

The Treasury is seeking experienced Project Managers to play a critical role in delivering ICT projects on time and within budget. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong experience in managing IT projects and driving business and digital process improvement initiatives, with the ability to apply industry-standard methodologies, tools, and frameworks.

The candidate will have the ability to quickly adapt to the Treasury environment by engaging with key business users and stakeholders from various levels. They will be comfortable working both collaboratively within a team and autonomously to achieve successful outcomes.

The role requires strong project management capability in complex delivery environments, including initiatives with multiple stakeholders, dependencies and external partners. Projects may span planning, design, delivery, transition and review phases, and require coordination across organisational boundaries.

We are seeking candidates with at least 5 years documented and proven experience to lead and deliver projects of this scale and scope in an outcomes focused environment for the Commonwealth or equivalent to the scale and scope of Department of Treasury.

The intent of this process is to hire multiple Project Managers immediately and/or include interviews and negotiations regarding start/end dates and hourly rates. Following this, Treasury may utilise the outcome of this approach to market for up to three months from the closing date to engage other project managers from various suppliers involved in the process, leaving the evaluation process open to allow this to be achieved. Due to the panel currently requiring all contracts to be signed prior to notifying unsuccessful suppliers, those invited should note until all contracts are signed the RFQ will remain in "In Negotiation" phase. Additionally, no further suppliers will be invited to the RFQ due to line area evaluation resources in the peak pre-budget timeframe.
