Supply and Delivery of All Steel Members Including All Connection Components

⁠⁠⁠Supply and delivery of all steel members and associated connections according to the drawings.

Council will provide new sign board faces.

Delivery should be before 12.06.2026. Deliver to the locations of installation according to the drawings.

Scope:

Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) have identified a need for additional or new signage at 4 locations on the New England and Oxley Highways in the Tamworth area. The existing signage at or near these locations are aged and damaged and require new sign faces to be installed.

Bridge Knowledge has been engaged to design and assess new steel support structures for each of the 4 signs, including assessment of suitability of cantilevered vs centrally supported signs, placement of signage, design of footings, and general arrangement of signs. The sign locations are:

• Site 1 – 197 Marius Street (New England Highway), Westbound
•  Site 3 – 22 Bridge Street (Oxley Highway), Southbound
•  Site 4 – 63 Bridge Street (Oxley Highway), Northbound
•  Site 5 – 75 Ebsworth Street (New England Highway), Westbound

Site 3 was placed on hold by TfNSW, with sites 1, 4 & 5 proceeding to IFC separately and as such are not included in this design report. Refer to BKP439-R01 for information on these sites.
