ECU Catering Services Panel

⁠⁠⁠Edith Cowan University (ECU) hosts a diverse range of events throughout the year, including academic functions, corporate engagements, student activities, cultural events, and highprofile stakeholder occasions. Catering services play a critical role in supporting these events and in upholding the University’s reputation for quality, professionalism, and hospitality.

To meet ongoing and future catering requirements, the University is seeking to establish a panel of suitably qualified and experienced Catering Service Providers. This panel will enable the University to efficiently engage reliable suppliers who can deliver consistent, high quality catering services across a variety of event types, sizes, and formats.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) invites submissions from providers who demonstrate the capability, capacity, and commitment to meet the University’s standards, compliance requirements, and operational needs.

The vendors will be required to:

• Support events of varying size, complexity, and profile, including Highvale and high profile University functions.
• Enable access to a range of catering styles and service models, from simple refreshments to full service catering.
• Ensure compliance with relevant University policies, food safety regulations, workplace health and safety requirements, and sustainability expectations.

Requirements:

• Provision of light refreshments, including tea, coffee, and morning and afternoon tea
• Corporate and business lunch catering, including boxed lunches and buffet style offerings
• Catering for formal functions and special events
• Accommodation of dietary, allergen, and cultural requirements (including, but not limited to, vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten free options)
• Compliance with food safety standards and the delivery of consistent quality and reliable service
• Delivery, setup, and pack down of catering services as required
• Provision of sustainable packaging solutions and food waste minimisation initiatives (desirable)
