Tender Description
Council has recently procured three new emergency backup power generators for three water and wastewater sites within the district. This Contract is for the construction and installation of concrete pads, ducting and generator housings for the new generators, as well as installation of the new generator (supplied by WDC) at the following sites:
- Kaiapoi WWTP
- West Eyreton WTP
- Mandeville WTP
The main tasks involved in this Contract are:
- Construction of 3 x concrete pads, including associated foundation works.
- Construction of 3 x generator housings, including installation of exhaust stack as required through nominated subcontractor Total Power Solutions (TPS) and wall cladding through Fielden Metalworks.
- Installation of power and comms cable ducting.
- Carry out other associated works for the completion of the contract.
