Wambianna Road Safety Improvements

⁠⁠⁠Council invites suitably qualified and experienced consultants to provide REF services for Wambianna Road Safety (Segment 10 and Segment 26-30), in accordance with the Conditions of Tendering and specifications contained in this document. The scope of construction is as follows;

• Widening of seal to 8.5m and 12m on straight and curves respectively (Segment 10)

• Establishment of a 6m clear zone

• Installation of curve alignment markers and associated signage on curves (Segment 10)

• Realignment of curve on (Segment 26-30)

• Installation of wire rope safety barriers on curves (Segment 10)

• 150mm Toucan gravel pavement and established with 1.5% lime at 200mm depth.

• 14/7mm C240 hot spray sealing

• Line marking

• Guideposts

• Installation of signs (i.e., curve signs with speed advisory, kangaroo warning signs)
