District Council of Loxton Waikerie (the Council) invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of LX15 Loxton CWMS Pump Chamber Upgrade works (the Services). The Tenderer shall provide the Services in accordance with the Specification contained within Section D.

Background

The District Council of Loxton Waikerie have received funding through the Constraints Group Program and Community and Recreational Asset Restoration Program for upgrades along the Loxton Riverfront to minimise high river impacts in the future. 2.1 The project site is situated near Sophie Edington Drive, Loxton on the southern bank of the River Murray. The existing CWMS pump chamber currently on-site is to be removed and replaced with a new system. The chamber will service the nearby Loxton Big4 Caravan Park, the Lion’s Park and Packard’s Bend Amenity Blocks, the Murray River Queen Restaurant and Accommodation and the houseboat mooring pier.

2.2 The works area will not require the removal of any native vegetation to complete the project.

Council is seeking quotes for civil construction work for the following:

  •  Installation of temporary bypass pump system
  •  Removal and disposal of existing chamber and associated components
