This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Cyber Security and Networks Branch within DFAT's Information Management and Technology Division has a requirement for up to (2x) highly skilled and dedicated Cyber Security Architects to join its Cyber Architecture and Assurance Section. This role is responsible for providing specialist advice on our systems to align with Australian and international standards and best practices such as the ISM, PSPF, and NIST. This role focuses on conducting risk assessments for secure design, developing enterprise security frameworks, and ensuring compliance with legislative and policy requirements. The successful candidates will work closely with the Enterprise Architecture and Governance, Risk and Assurance teams, and will collaborate with other ICT teams within DFAT, project managers, and external stakeholders to embed security into all phases of system development and operations, while also supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidates will have a strong knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and/or secure software development. Essential qualifications include a degree in Cyber Security, ICT, or another related field, along with professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, and/or TOGAF. The candidates must demonstrate a deep understanding of cyber threats facing government and have the ability to work within a high-security environment.
