AIHW Kentico CMS upgrade to Xperience by Kentico

⁠⁠⁠1. Objective

Deliver a like-for-like upgrade of the existing Kentico 13 solution to Xperience by Kentico, maintaining current functionality, content, integrations and business processes, except where changes are required for compatibility with the new platform.

2. Scope of Services

The supplier will deliver the services required to migrate and rebuild the existing solution in Xperience by Kentico.

2.1 Platform and Environment Setup

Set up the Xperience by Kentico solution, including development and test environments, and the supporting services required to build and migrate the solution.

2.2 Migration and Rebuild

Migrate and rebuild the existing platform in Xperience by Kentico, including:

• conversion of legacy components to the target platform
• rebuilding application functionality to maintain current behaviour
• migration of business logic and backend processes

2.3 Content and Data Migration

Migrate content, media and structured data into the new platform and non-production environments, including tooling to support repeatable migration during the project.

2.4 Components and Front-End

Rebuild page types, templates, widgets, forms and related components required to maintain the current website and microsite capability.

2.5 Integrations

Maintain and rebuild existing integrations and interfaces with internal and external systems.

2.6 URL Continuity

Implement URL redirection and related measures to maintain access to existing content.

2.7 Testing

Undertake testing to confirm the migrated solution reflects the current platform and is ready for client acceptance.

2.8 Project Delivery

Provide project management and coordination required to deliver the migration.

3. Deliverables

The supplier will deliver:

• a configured Xperience by Kentico solution
• development and test environments
• migrated application components and integrations
• migrated content and data in non-production environments
• migration tooling used during delivery
• a test-complete solution ready for final migration and deployment

4. Exclusions

The following are out of scope for this engagement:

• final production content migration
• production deployment and release activities

Further exclusions and assumptions are as defined in the supplier’s quotation.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client will:

• provide access to systems, content and required information
• support testing and validation activities
• manage production environments, deployment and go-live activities

6. Basis of Contract

The supplier’s quotation forms the detailed basis for scope, inclusions, exclusions and pricing for this engagement.

7. Completion / Success Criteria

The solution will be considered complete when it is functionally equivalent to the existing platform in a non-production environment and ready for deployment.
