Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Animal aerial wildlife survey provider to conduct annual kangaroo aerial population surveys across the New South Wales (NSW) Western Plains using mark recapture distance sampling and Central Tableland.

Project goals

Deliver scientifically robust and accurate population estimates for kangaroos in NSW

Scope

The supplier will provide aircraft and aviation services, experienced kangaroo observers, data capture, analysis and provide finished reports for 2026 and 2027 to agreed technical standards.
