Tender Description
The Eastern Waste Management Authority (the Authority) is seeking the delivery of services for the receipt and processing of kerbside collected recyclables generated from its Member Councils and any additional councils that may accede to the Contract during its term.
The Authority coordinates waste and resource recovery services on behalf of its Member Councils, including kerbside recyclables, residual waste, organics, hard\ waste, and public litter bin services, noting that service arrangements vary between Councils.
The Contractor will be responsible for the receipt, processing, and management of kerbside collected recyclables. Services must maximise resource recovery, ensure lawful handling of all outputs, and minimise landfill disposal.
The Contractor must provide all necessary labour, plant, equipment, facilities, systems, and resources to deliver the Services in accordance with the Contract, including the ability to manage variations in material volumes and composition over time.
The Authority will enter into an Agreement for Services with the successful Tenderer.
