NCI Australia National Supercomputer Refresh Project

⁠⁠⁠The Australian National University (the University), through the National Computational Infrastructure (NCI) Australia is issuing this Request for Tender to seek tenders for the NCI Australia National Supercomputer Refresh Project (RFT).

The core purpose of this RFT is to:

Refresh and enhance the NCI High Performance Computing (HPC) capability by upgrading its multi-petaflop supercomputer infrastructure as well as maintenance and support. This may be delivered through either a single Contractor, or a single integrator, representing a consortium of suppliers, for which the integrator will be solely responsible; and

Establish a contract with the preferred Tenderer/Contractor for the initial supply, installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance and support of the supercomputer system including the option to procure any future goods, services, upgrades, enhancements, or related components reasonably required to maintain, improve, or extend the functionality and performance of the system during its lifecycle.

The University will conduct a general briefing session for all potential Tenderers. The briefing will be held at 3:30pm AEST on 28 April 2026, details on how to register are included in the RFT Header.
