Whyalla Recreation Centre Roofing Renewal

⁠⁠⁠The City of Whyalla invites tenders for the provision of qualified roofing contractors to undertake rectification and replacement works to selected roof areas at the Whyalla Recreation Centre. The works include roof repairs, replacement of deteriorated roofing systems, installation of improved flashing and stormwater drainage components and general maintenance activities to address water ingress and improve the overall performance of the roof structures.

The purpose of these works is to ensure the facility remains safe, operational and protected from further deterioration. The project will improve waterproofing, drainage performance and asset longevity while supporting the continued use of the Recreation Centre by the community.

Contractors must conduct site inspections in their own time to understand site conditions and prepare their quote in accordance with the scope of works.

Council will provide reasonable access but will not supervise these inspections. Access is to be pre-arranged with YMCA staff at the Centre by calling 08 8645 5488 to make arrangements.
