Provision of Pinus Radiata Seedlings

⁠⁠⁠Business objectives

The Supplier is required to provide healthy, high-quality Pinus radiata seedlings suitable for plantation establishment. Seedlings must be sourced from certified genetic stock, free from pests and diseases, and delivered in appropriate packaging to ensure viability. Quantities, delivery timelines, and specifications regarding seedling type will be confirmed upon contract award.

The Supplier will propagate and supply Pinus radiata seedlings for the establishment of plantations managed by the Territory. Both parties will agree to an annual volume of seedlings which the Supplier will propagate on behalf of the Territory for that term of agreement. In addition, there will be scope to an agreed tree stock quantity above the minimum take commitment for each growing season

Requirements

General

• The Supplier must propagate pinus radiata seedlings over the term of the agreement. Prior to 30 October of each year, PCS will provide the Supplier with a tree stock order and the Supplier will advise PCS if it is able to meet the ordered amount.
•  PCS routinely order Pinus radiata seedlings with a 10-13 month delivery response. Orders are created in August-October and delivered by the Supplier in June-August the following year. Under the Agreement, the first order of Pinus radiata seedlings will be mid-2026 and delivered in June 2027.
•  Variations to dispatch timing may occur as mutually agreed in writing between both parties closer to the time of delivery.
