Susan St - Irrigation and Drainage Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠The scope of works includes but not limited to:

Preliminary Works

• Conduct site inspection with Construction Supervisor.

• Install 1.8m temporary chain link fencing around the entire Field of Play.

• Install safety signage and establish contractor compound area.

• Locate and verify all underground services

Site Clearing

• Remove and store existing goal posts (client storing).

• Protect goal post sleeves with safety mesh.

• Remove existing irrigation sprinklers/fittings and return as required.

Irrigation Installation

• Supply and install HDPE PN12.5 ring main and lateral pipework.

• Supply and install Rainbird 6504 sprinklers on articulated risers.

• Install four solenoid valve benches on concrete slabs.

• Install new multicore wiring and DBRY connectors.

• Install Rainbird wireless rain sensor.

• Connect to existing Rainbird LXMEF controller.

Subsurface Drainage Installation

• Install lateral drains at 8m spacing.

• Install perimeter/collector drains.

• Install outlet connection to existing pit.

• Install drainage pits as specified

Pre Grassing Works

• Cut and remove 600mm strips over irrigation/drainage trenches.

• Apply and mix soil amendments (NPK, lime, super, Dynamic Lifter).

• Mix thoroughly into top 25mm (Hold Point 13).

Grassing (Sodding)

• Supply and install sand backed Santa Ana Couch.

Sand Slitting

• Install 100mm wide slits at 1.5m spacing across entire surface.

Establishment / Maintenance Period (6 Weeks Minimum)

• Watering management (daily as required).

• Fertilising as specified (20:0:16 every 2 weeks).

• Mowing at 25mm, minimum 12 cuts.

• Rolling to consolidate surface.

Goal Post Installation

• Reinstall existing goal posts into original sleeves.

Final Site Clean Up

• Reinstate all disturbed areas, including turf, fencing, paths, and hardstands.

• Remove all spoil and waste from site.
