Technical Reviewer for the Wolgan Road project

⁠⁠⁠The purpose of this engagement is to procure a Consultant to undertake an independent review of Strategic designs undertaken by GHD for the following permanent solutions:

Restore the existing Wolgan Road

1. Portion 1: Restoration of the existing road to its pre-disaster function, with associated eligible safety and maintenance improvements in accordance with EPAR funding requirements (i.e. DRFA eligible works). New works are to conform to current engineering standards, such as Austroads Guidelines and Technical Specifications – to a strategic design level to achieve a P90 cost estimate.

2. Portion 2: Full-length, full-width reconstruction to modern Austroads standards (upgrades and geometry improvements) to a strategic design level to achieve a P90 cost estimate.

3. Portion 3: A hybrid of Portions 1 and 2. DRFA-compliant scope is used, and items from Portion 1 that are not DRFA-eligible are extracted. All reconstruction needs to be rebuilt to modern standards, including lane widths and shoulders, at a strategic design level to achieve a P90 cost estimate.
