Tender Description
Overview
The Ministry of Education (NZ) engaged a contractor to carry out roofing replacement and associated building works to Block F at Upper Hutt College.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Removal of existing roof finishes to Block F
- Installation of a new RoofLogic warm roof system over the existing structure in accordance with the building consent
- Removal of all skylights and making good roof openings to achieve full weathertightness
- Removal of indicated first-floor west elevation windows and infilling with new cladding as consented
- Modification of remaining windows to provide compliant mechanical opening hardware
- Removal of the existing north-facing fire exit door and installation of a new compliant fire exit door assembly
- Completion of all internal and external making-good works
- Delivery of all works fully coordinated and consent-compliant, in accordance with RoofLogic requirements, the New Zealand Building Code, and applicable MoE standards
- Provision of all producer statements, warranties, and completion documentation
