Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers - Supply of Whole Protein Supplies - Animal Feed

⁠⁠⁠Bundaberg Regional Council (Council) is seeking to establish a register of pre-qualified suppliers for frozen whole protein products. These products are to be varied to meet dietary needs of the exhibited animals at the Alexandra Park Zoo. The amount and types of whole food products required may vary seasonally.

Council is seeking supply of bulk frozen whole protein products to minimise both freight costs and to lower environmental impacts such as fossil fuel emissions. It is acknowledged that one supplier may not be able to provide all product types and Council is seeking to establish a panel of suppliers of products to ensure that appropriate, species-aligned diets that replicate natural feeding behaviours can be adopted. As such, suppliers are not expected to be able to provide all products listed below.
