Supply and distribution of Pharmaceutical Dose Administration Aid Pack's (PDAAP's)

⁠⁠⁠The Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS) invite suitably qualified suppliers to submit an offer for Invitation to Offer (ITO) No. CHHHS129278 for the provision of Pharmaceutical Dose Administration Aid Packs (PDAAPs) to support healthcare delivery at Lotus Glen Correctional Centre (LGCC).

The successful Offeror will be required to provide a comprehensive service including:

•  Receipt, storage, and inventory management of medications
•  Repackaging of medications into tamper-evident PDAAPs
•  Preparation of routine (BAU) and ad hoc medication orders
•  Distribution and delivery of PDAAPs to the Lotus Glen Health Service (LGHS) pharmacy team

Medications for packing will be supplied by CHHHS via Queensland Health Central Pharmacy under existing departmental supply arrangements.

Key Service Requirements

•  Management of stock levels and medication ordering at the supplier’s facility
•  Accurate and secure repackaging aligned with prescribed medication schedules
•  Ability to meet strict delivery timeframes: - routine bulk deliveries: weekly (Wednesday by 08:30 hrs) / ad hoc / urgent deliveries: Daily by 08:30 hrs

The proposed contract term is:

•  Three (3) years initial term, with
•  Two (2) optional extensions of one (1) year each

Location of Service Delivery

•  Services are to be performed at the supplier’s facility
•  Delivery location: Lotus Glen Correctional Centre (LGCC), Queensland

Future service scalability required for a proposed Youth Detention Centre.
