Two Ironing Lines - Illawarra Linen Services

⁠⁠⁠Supply, installation and commissioning of two gas-heated industrial ironing lines at Illawarra Linen Services, including removal and trade-in of existing equipment.

Project goals

To replace existing thermal oil ironer lines with a modern, high-speed gas-heated solution that improves operational efficiency, reliability, and whole-of-life value for money, assessed through a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach.

Scope

HealthShare NSW is seeking to engage a suitably qualified supplier to replace two (2) existing thermal oil ironer lines with two (2) new high-speed, gas-heated thermal ironer lines at Illawarra Linen Services.

The scope of works will be delivered in two stages:

• Stage 1: Decommissioning, removal, and disposal or trade-in of the existing ironers (excluding feeders and folders), including making remaining equipment safe for relocation •
• Stage 2: Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of two (2) complete ironing lines, including feeders, ironers, folders, and associated equipment

The successful supplier will be responsible for delivering a fully integrated and operational system, including all associated activities such as delivery, cranage, installation, commissioning, utility connections, and integration with existing infrastructure.

The scope also includes training, documentation, and ongoing support services, including maintenance, consumables, spare parts, and technical support to ensure reliable and continuous operation.

Suppliers must demonstrate the capability to deliver a compliant, fit-for-purpose solution that provides value for money over the asset lifecycle, as assessed through a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model.
