Finely Storage Dam Raw Water Pump Upgrade (Design & Package)

⁠⁠⁠Berrigan Shire Council (Council) invites suitably qualified and experienced organisations to submit a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Design and Construct (D&C) upgrade of the Finley Storage Dam Raw Water Pump Station (the Works).

The Finley Storage Dam Raw Water Pump Station is a critical component of Councils potable water supply network, transferring raw water to the Finley Water Treatment Plant and supporting the reliable delivery of water services to the Finley township. The existing infrastructure has reached the limits of its operational capability and does not provide sufficient capacity, redundancy, or reliability to meet Councils current and future service requirements.

Council seeks to engage a Organisation to undertake the full Design and Construct delivery of the pump station upgrade, including engineering investigation, detailed design, certification, supply, installation, commissioning, and operational handover of a complete and fully functional pumping system. The proposed pump design capacity to be a maximum of 25 litres per second and incorporate a duty and standby pump configuration to ensure operational redundancy and continuity of service.

The Works will include the provision of new pumping infrastructure, floating intake system, pipework, electrical and control systems, instrumentation, and full integration with Councils SCADA system. The Contractor will be responsible for the engineering integrity, certification, and operational performance of the completed Works, which must comply with all relevant Australian Standards, NSW legislative requirements, and industry best practice.

Councils objective is to deliver a reliable, resilient, and fully integrated pumping system that ensures the long-term operational performance of this critical water supply infrastructure and supports the ongoing provision of safe and uninterrupted water services to the Finley community.
