Roadside Slashing and Vegetation Maintenance

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited for Slashing Services and associated services across the Sunshine Coast local government area.

This is a Separable Portions contract, consisting of five (5) Separable Portions for:

•  Roadside Slashing Services (including spaying and brush cutting) - Separable Portions A (North), B (Central) and C (South);
•  Boom/Flail Mowing - Separable Portions D all zones North, Central and South
•  Adhoc/Overflow Slashing Services/ Boom Mowing- Separable Portion E (to cover overflow services for Separable Portions A to D).

The Services include but are not limited to:

(a) Site Inspection

(b) Slashing Services

(c) Herbicide Application

(d) Brush Cutting

(e) Boom/Flail Mowing

(f) Traffic Management

(g) General Maintenance

(h) Site Presentation

(i) Contract Reporting

Respondents can submit tenders for one (1), all or any combination of Separable Portions.

The successful contractor/s will be required to perform scheduled Roadside Slashing and/or Boom/Flail Mowing. Services provided are expected to be of a high standard to meet community expectations.

This is a schedule of rates contract, commencing on 1 July 2026 and expiring 30 June 2030, with one (1) by 24 month extension option, at Council’s sole discretion.
