RFT - Gillian Bann Extension - Jilara Oval, Yarrabah

⁠⁠⁠Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council is seeking tenders from suitably experienced contractors for the construction of an extension to the existing female amenities building at Jillara Oval, including associated electrical, hydraulic and minor civil works, as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope. The works are located at 57 Back Beach Road, Yarrabah QLD 4871 (Lot 701 on SP265165) and include building extension works within the existing sporting precinct, adjacent to existing amenities, courts and sporting infrastructure.

The scope generally includes:

• Design and Construction of a female amenities building extension, including structural engineering and building approvals

• Associated building works, fixtures and finishes

• Hydraulic services installation including sanitary plumbing, drainage and water services

• Electrical reticulation and switchboard works

• Connection to existing services and infrastructure

• Minor civil works and rehabilitation / landscaping

These drawings describe the extension to the existing amenities building and associated service infrastructure within the Jilara Oval sporting precinct.

Key works include:

• Construction of new amenities extension to the existing building including Engineering and Full Certification

• Internal fit-out including sanitary fixtures and fittings

• Plumbing, drainage and water services installation

• Electrical distribution and switchboard installation

• Trenching and installation of new electrical sub-mains

• The Contractor must make allowances to install a 15-amp power outlet at the entry of Jilara Oval, ideally in a position that is secure, safe and in a containment which is not easily damaged.

• Connection to existing site services

• Site reinstatement and making good to disturbed areas

• Mandatory IEBP to be submitted with tender

• Contractors are responsible for confirming all site conditions and service locations prior to commencing works.
