Platform Toilet Refurbishment - Station Precinct Mansfield

⁠⁠⁠Mansfield Shire Council is seeking to engage the services of an experienced and qualified builder to Refurbish the existing Platform Toilet as per design completed by Taylor Engineering + Design.

Under the new Station Precinct Grant, Council is proposing the refurbishment of existing platform toilets within the Station Precinct. The current amenities are outdated and do not meet accessibility standards or the needs of all community members and visitors.

Council is committed to delivering inclusive and accessible infrastructure in accordance with its Access and Inclusion Plan, while also preserving the heritage significance of the Station Precinct in accordance with the Heritage Overlay Provisions of the local planning scheme.

The proposed works will:

• Improve access and usability for people with high support needs.
• Retain and maintain the heritage character of the platform precinct.
• Ensure compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and AS 1428.1.
