Tender Description
Taxi & Shuttle services provided by various vendors include but are not limited to:
• Patient Travel
• Staff Travel
• Weekend Pathology Collection & Transportation
• Ad-hoc requests
Scope:
The Operator must be able to deliver either services under Taxi or Shuttle or both as outlined in the below Specifications. NNSWLHD welcomes new business with past experience encouraged but not essential.
Taxi services for low-acuity patients and couriering of items withing the NNSWLHD – when required – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. Taxi services at times may also be required for staff escorting patients and returning to sites. The NNSWLHD has an expectation that vendors will be able to provide services when requested to all NNSWLHD sites that are within the Local Government Area that they submit to in their response. At times, an ad-hoc taxi service maybe required outside of the NNSWLHD for example from Coffs Harbour Hospital to Grafton Base Hospital.
