The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Roof Replacement at Strathpine West SS, located at Garbala Drive, Strathpine QLD 4500, as part of the Targeted program.

The building is a single storey and contains 4 Classrooms, 1 preparation area, 1 withdrawal room, and storage rooms. The roof replacement includes re-pitching including new flashing gutters, downpipes, fascias etc. The position of the building is in the middle of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by July 2026.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
