The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites Expressions of Interest for the carrying out of Head Design Consultancy Services for Town Hall House Workplace Project in accordance with this request.
THE PROJECT
The Town Hall House Workplace Project will deliver a comprehensive fit-out guide, asset renewal strategy and design and documentation for upgrade works to create a modern and flexible workplace that matches how we work today and into the future.
Located to the west of Sydney Town Hall on the corner of Kent Street and Druitt Street, Town Hall House is the Citys primary administrative building.
Town Hall House was designed by Archer, Mortlock & Woolley and constructed between 1972 & 1977. The building has undergone progressive upgrades to meet changing operational requirements. This project is the next significant step in upgrading the City's workplace to ensure our staff can continue to do their best work for the community.
The City's vision for the 'Town Hall House Workplace Project' is to build a workplace that matches how we work today and into the future.
The Town Hall House Workplace Project requires a team experienced in the provision of design consultancy services for significant workplace upgrades and asset renewal strategies with multiple interfaces in an inner-city site.
The Cit is seeking to engage an inspiring and suitably experienced Head Design Consultant (HDC) team to work with us in the successful delivery of this project.
PROCUREMENT
Procurement for this consultancy will be subject to a two-stage process as outlined below:
Expression of Interest - Council is now seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced consultancy teams, led by a HDC, to provide planning, design, documentation, and construction stage services. Following selection of a shortlist of suitable candidates, it is intended to proceed to a selected tender process.
Selected Tender -Shortlisted Tenderers will be required to submit formal Tenders.
