Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers Hire of Plant & Equipment Contract Refresh

⁠⁠⁠Rockhampton Regional Council (Council) is refreshing the Contract for Register of Pre-Qualified Contractors, for the hire of Construction Plant and Equipment from suitably qualified contractors to perform planned maintenance services, responsive maintenance services and minor capital works on Rockhampton Regional Council sites. Current Rockhampton Regional Council employees are not permitted to Tender for such services.

Under this Contract Refresh, new Contractors may submit a Tender to be added to the existing Register of Pre-Qualifed Suppliers for Hire of Plant and Equipment. Once added to the Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers, those additional Contractors shall have the same rights and obligations as the incumbent Pre- Qualified Suppliers.

Contractors who have already been accepted to the Register of Pre-Qualified Contractors are NOT required to submit a Tender under this Contract Refresh process, unless they have NEW/ADDITIONAL plant or equipment that was not included on their previous Tender Submission under Contract 16189. Where a Contractor has new/additional plant or equipment to offer, they are required to submit a Tender Submission for the new items ONLY. All plant and equipment already accepted and included under their Contract 16189 will remain on Contract at the current rates.
