Bail Accommodation Support Program (North)

⁠⁠⁠Suppliers are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the Department for Correctional Services (DCS / Department) for the provision of a Bail Accommodation Support Program (BASP / Program) located in the northern metropolitan area. The EOI is designed to provide suppliers with an opportunity to confirm their interest and provide a high-level response outlining how they would meet the Department’s requirements. The EOI will be part of a two-stage process for this procurement with the EOI to be followed by an Invitation to Supply (ITS) for shortlisted Suppliers.

The objective of this procurement is to engage a supplier / suppliers capable of delivering an accommodation and wrap-around support program for individuals who have been deemed suitable for bail by the Court but lack suitable housing.

The Department invites proposals that deliver the following: 

• Suitable short-term accommodation for up to 30 people transitioning from custody to bail.

• A program of between 2 and 12 weeks for each participant that provides:

- individualised case management and wrap-around support services

- assertive support to transition people to longer-term accommodation suitable for the purposes of their bail order

- culturally appropriate support for Aboriginal participants

- linking participants with Universal services (i.e. Centrelink, healthcare etc)
