Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Icon Water wishes to enter into a contractual arrangement for the provision of planned and unplanned maintenance services, along with the supply of required goods and other ancillary services such as training, support and change management services associated with the Disinfection and De-Chlorination systems.

Scope:

Icon Water requires technicians to undertake all aspects of planned, preventative and unplanned maintenance of Icon Water’s Disinfection and De-Chlorination Systems at:

• Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre

• Stromlo Water Treatment Plant

• Googong Water Treatment Plant

In undertaking the Services, the Contractor will:

a) Undertake all services in a professional manner and at the highest levels of workmanship including supply all equipment, goods and qualified and experienced Personnel required for the completion of the Services.

b) Deliver the services in a safe manner including providing Personnel with required PPE, including breathing apparatus where necessary and adhering to site specific Safety requirements.

c) Deliver cost effective Services.

d) Conduct the Services within agreed business hours and to minimise risk and inconvenience to Icon Water. This includes ensuring services conducted as part of any plant shutdown are undertaken within the agreed timeframe identified in the project plan or as agreed with Icon Water.

e) Undertake problem solving, design and/or change management and asset health monitoring.

f) Ensure all services are sustainable and compliant with legislation, guidelines, standards and specifications. including but not limited to:

• Any recommendations provided by the OEM of parts & equipment.

• AS2927:2019 Storage & Handling of Liquefied Chlorine

• STD-SPE-G-002 ICON Testing & Commissioning Requirements

• Icon Water Zone Inspection & Test Plan

• The Chlorine Institute Published Pamphlets

• Other ITP’s relevant to the works e.g. vacuum & pressure testing

g) Minimise any environmental impacts associated with the Services.

h) Have sufficient stock of goods to provide the services including replenishing Icon Water inventory.

i) Supply and bring to the Icon Water site, all goods necessary for the scheduled service.

j) Once onsite, liaise with Icon Water to utilise any goods required in the service from Icon Water’s goods in stock.

k) Replenish the goods that were used as a part of the service.

l) Provide a minimum of 120 days notice of any changes to processes, goods and support services provided as part of these Services.

m) Obtain Icon Water’s approval prior to the use of alternative goods or processes that are not OEM goods or deviate from current processes.

n) Provide updated information in relation to system and equipment changes.

o) Dispose of waste that minimises impacts on the environment.

p) Deliver training where required.
