Design and Construction of Subsoil Drainage - Jurd Park, Colo Vale

⁠⁠⁠Council (the Principal) is seeking Quotations from appropriately qualified and experienced Contractors to undertake the design and construction of subsurface drainage in Jurd Park, Colo Vale NSW.

Council (the Principal) is seeking Quotations from appropriately qualified and experienced Contractors to undertake the design and construction of subsurface drainage to support the future development of Jurd Park in Colo Vale, NSW.

A more detailed brief of the extent of services required by Council is set out in Volume 1 - Specification which is included as part of the Request for Quotation documentation.

In accordance with Council Policy and Guidelines, Council invites quotations in accordance with this Invitation and the following accompanying documents:

• Volume 1 - Specification
• Volume 1a – Jurd Park Master Plan
• Volume 2 - Response Schedules
• Volume 3 - Conditions of Contract, and
• Any published Addenda

Scope:

The extent of works includes all tasks, plant and equipment required for the design, supply and construction of a subsurface drainage system to meet the goals of the Jurd Park Masterplan.

The work under the proposed contract shall include, but not be limited to:

- Provision of Contractor’s Management Plans.

- Provision of Quality Assurance Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). ITPs to be updated during construction.

- Design of a subsurface drainage system to support the future development of the Jurd Park Master Plan and protection of the existing infrastructure, including nets, long jump pit and seating etc. The design is to consider existing ground conditions and avoid conflicts with future infrastructure to the extent possible based on the Jurd Park Master Plan provided in Volume 1a. The design is also to include assessment of the suitability of existing stormwater drainage offsite and in adjoining road reserves to carry the water diversion from Jurd Park.

- Construction of approved subsurface drainage design, including connection to offsite network.

- At completion of the onsite works the Contractor is to reinstate all disturbed areas to at least the pre-construction condition. Excess spoil is the be stockpiled onsite as directed by the Council Representative.

- Provision of Works-As-Executed drawings, certifications, and guarantees.
