Ravenshoe Leachate upgrade

⁠⁠⁠Tablelands Regional Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for appointment as a preferred supplier for the upgrade of the existing Ravenshoe Leachate upgrade located at the closed Ravenshoe Landfill site, Cemetery Road, Ravenshoe as described in more detail in Part 5 Scope.

Refer to General Specification section 1.4 - Project Scope for background project information and general scope of this upgrade project. Construction of four (4) new leachate injection spears to be undertaken by TRC as detailed in section 7 Works by Others and Appendix A. Potential for TRC to supply, configure and install SCADA telemetry components, to be confirmed through electrical workshop drawings as described in section 8 Principal Supplied Material and Appendix B.

The intent of this construction project is to reduce the risk of leachate overflow during weather events, exceeding existing system capacity. Given this, the completion of this upgrade project is required before the commencement of the 2026 wet season, preferably by 31 October 2027, which will be reflected in your program submission.
