Underground Balance Tank Works (Biloela Pool)

Scope: Banana Shire Council is seeking to engage a contractor to recoat the balance tank at Biloela Pool.

The system tank will be empty upon commencement. All size details are available in the drawings attached.

The process will need to include:

1. Pressure clean all walls, floor and fixtures, remove all waste.

2. Investigate all possible cracks and leak points

3. Seal all suspect cracks and possible leak points with chemical resistant mega-epoxy. This may include rendering across some/all wall surfaces depending on condition of concrete.

4. All surfaces are to be coated with chemi-coat epoxy using a 3-coat system.

Ensure all curing times must be adhered to. Please note this area will require a confined spaces ticket.

Quotes are to include travel, labour, materials, and safety provisions.

Works must be completed between mid-May and the end of July 2026.

All works need to be completed in alignment with Australian standards. Contractor is to provide all work method statements and SDS information, this is to ensure the safety of the contractor and pool users and managers. Risk assessments must be supplied
