This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) requires the service of a Backup & Restore Engineer to ensure the protection and recoverability of the Department’s data across virtual, physical, and cloud-based infrastructure.
The role is responsible for monitoring daily backups, troubleshooting failures, executing data restores, and conducting disaster recovery tests. The position covers a wide range of components, including the backup, archiving, and recovery of data across an On-Premises NetBackup infrastructure environment.
When not undertaking backup and restore activities, the Backup & Restore Engineer will participate in other Infrastructure Services team activities as required.
