QED 6142 2026 Bray Park SHS - Amenities (with design responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of an Amenities Refurbishment at Bray Park SHS, located at 27-37 Lavarack Rd, Bray Park QLD 4500, as part of the Targeted (TARGETED) program.

The scope includes inter alia, internal demolition of the existing amenities block, new full height cubicles, new floor, new perforated screens, new fixtures and fittings, internal paint, new ceiling, new electrical etc. The position of the building is at the middle of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by June 2026.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
